The Brief
To transform the beautiful ballroom at the Savoy Hotel into a crazy night in Las Vegas

The Party
As guests pulled up to the entrance of the Savoy, they were greeted by two beautiful girls dressed up as showgirls who directed them to the reception room. The client wanted to re-create the idea of the famous Las Vegas buffets and put on a huge spread of food on multiple displays for guests to tuck into on arrival. In addition to this, there was a large step and repeat board for photo opportunities, a magician and even an Elvis impersonator serenading them as they made their way through the room!

As Elvis finished his last song, he invited the guests downstairs to the ballroom for the main party. As they came in, guests were wowed by a 6m wide LED screen which had the famous ‘Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas’ sign on it. Later on the screen was used for speeches and for club visuals during the dancing. The adult table centres were beautiful crystal lamps with black lampshades surrounded by mirrored cubes with roses and playing cards – elegantly linking to the theme. Tables were named after renowned Vegas hotels such as the Bellagio, the Wynn, the Venetian, etc. The kids table was lined with Perspex boxes with boxing gloves in them. We transformed the venue’s in-house staging area to a step-up bar where guests could get their drinks for the evening.

The barmitzvah boy made his grand entrance with two girls dressed as boxing ring girls – one on each arm! After Israeli dancing and the welcome speech, the kids were let loose on their very own casino complete with blackjack, roulette and eight slot machines! Adults were kept entertained with our fantastic male and female singer as well as a photo booth and magician.

After main course, guests were treated to the authentic Vegas experience with a Britney Spears tribute act! Britney had some guests up with some classic songs and our DJs kept the dance floor full afterwards. After a brief break for speeches and dessert guests could help themselves to popcorn from a popcorn machine and a Vegas themed sweet table. Dancing continued until midnight and guests all had a fantastic time!
